Vibration transmitted to the hands and arms by powered handheld and stationary tools is known to cause occupational injuries among workers.
Excessive, (i.e., long-term and regular, vibration exposure) can lead to signs and symptoms of peripheral vascular and peripheral neural disorders of the fingers and hands. This article explores these effects further.
