Master's Thesis on Influencing Leaders Relative to Safety
Thesis in partial fulfillment of requirements for Master's degree in Occupational Safety Management. Thesis was completed in 1999. Presented here are the results of a study in which management leadership effectiveness was used as an indicator of the effects that a safety improvement program had on a manufacturing plant. The study used management effectiveness as a measure of safety results rather than the more traditional measure of injury rates.
