Master's Thesis on Influencing Leaders Relative to Safety
Summary: Thesis in partial fulfillment of requirements for Master's degree in Occupational Safety Management. Thesis was completed in 1999. Presented here are the results of a study in which management leadership effectiveness was used as an indicator of the effects that a safety improvement program had on a manufacturing plant. The study used management effectiveness as a measure of safety results rather than the more traditional measure of injury rates.
