OSHA in Healthcare - Out of Sight & Out of Mind?


Summary: There are millions of healthcare-associated infections and fatalities each year, and there are few inspections and low penalties. Healthcare might feel exempt, but it looks like it finally got OSHA’s attention. A formal request for information (RFI) and regional and national emphasis programs (NEPs) might just be the start.

What is the BOK?

The purpose of this website is to introduce subject areas that will eventually be part of the Body of Knowledge, and to gather feedback on the future direction, and ongoing assessment of what needs to be completed.
