Summary: ASSE, as secretariat of the Z359 ANSI Accredited Standards Committee (ASC) for Fall Protection and Fall Arrest, has continued to receive a significant number of inquiries related to the newly approved ANSI/ASSE Z359.14-2012 American National Standard titled Safety Requirements for Self-Retracting Devices for Personal Fall Arrest and Rescue Systems. Due to these inquiries for information about the standard, we have put together what we call a “guide” for those with interest.

What is the BOK?

The purpose of this website is to introduce subject areas that will eventually be part of the Body of Knowledge, and to gather feedback on the future direction, and ongoing assessment of what needs to be completed.
